GOMBE STREAM NATIONAL PARK - (52 Sq Km):

An ancient forest mountain strip, bordering the Lake Tanganyika shores. Gombe is a unique 52 sq / km walking park, reached by sea Taxis - dhows from Kigoma .

Walking amidst primates such as Chimpanzees, who are the main draw in the park, baboons, Ver'vet and blue or red - tailed monkeys, makes Gombe an island of wilderness.

Since they aren't any carnivores, the forests offer unique walking adventures that give one a chance to mingle with mankind's closest cousins.
